Barites can come in quite the variety of colors, but a fan favorite has to be the blues. We are lucky to have gotten specimens from this locality in Spain.

The name barite comes from the Greek “barys”, meaning “heavy” and they are exceptionally heavy for their size.

Metaphysically, blue barite helps with dissipating shame around areas of communication, self expression and taking up space.
