Serpentine was named from the Latin “serpens” or “snake” as a nod to the resemblance of the stones to some snakes.

Related to the crown chakra, Serpentine is said to promote spiritual understanding and psychic abilities. It is best used during meditation. Owls are associated with wisdom and intuition, but they can also be associated with death and mystery. Owls are also seen as symbols of vigilance and protection, especially in cultures where they are considered guardians of the night or messengers from the spirit world.
