These staurolite crystals are large, well formed, and highly sought after for their naturally crossed twinned penetration crystals.

It gets it’s name from the greek root “stauros”, which means “cross” , but is often called a “fairy stone”, or “fairy cross”.

Often sold as good luck charms, they are an excellent substitute for crossroads dirt in spells – an area that belongs to no one, and a portal between worlds.

Because of the association with crossroads it can work as a talisman for the “good people” helping us find lost items and warding away mischief.
